Delayed Opening 11/1

Sunshine School will open at 10AM for morning session, 12:oo lunch and 1PM afternoon session.

SCHOOL CLOSED 10/31/2011

Due to road conditions and wide spread power outages the Sunshine School will be closed on Monday, 10/31/2011.

Please have a SAFE Halloween.

3 Year Old Halloween party rescheduled for Wednesday!

November 4th:  LIBRARY FIELD TRIP – 4 Year Old Classes

November 9th:  MEET THE TEACHERS/ART SHOW 7Pm – please RSVP by 11/4

November 17th:  TRAIN TRIP – 4 Year Old Classes (info to follow)

November 30th:  HOLIDAY WALK THROUGH THE VILLAGE – 3 Year Old Classes

December 1st:  HOLIDAY WALK THROUGH THE VILLAGE – 4 Year Old Classes

Thank you to all the Sunshine families that have already donated to our annual food drive.  We will continue to collect food until the train trip on the 17th of November.

4 Year Old Fall Festival is this Thursday the 27th at 10:30.  Please have your child wear or bring their costume.

3 Year Old Halloween Party is Monday the 31st.  Please have your child wear or bring their costume.

The Sunshine kids have created a beautiful mural for this event. October 22, 23 at Christ Church on Quaker Hill.

Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

We have begun our annual food drive for the Center of Compassion in Dover Plains, NY and the Pawling Resource Center.  Items needed are:

• canned vegetables, gravy or cranberry sauce
• instant potatoes/boxed stuffing
• beans
• any other non-perishable item for a Thanksgiving Dinner!!

Tomorrow – October 4th is the 4 Year old Pumpkin Patch Field Trip!  If you did not get a notice with the date and time in your child’s cubby, please check the coat room bulletin board for information.  Also, please remember to wear appropriate footwear!!
